By application of the principle of infrared remote control, and the control of the thyristor high current via thyristor low current, a new type of remote control lamp is designed and its hardware design scheme is put forth: an infrared receiver module and a level conversion module. On this basis, the software system is designed which includes the design of a decoder module and top-level program for achieving the functions of turning off and on the lights, the luminance enhancement and weakening within a wanted range
