The Task Scheduling Strategy and Improvement Between Two OS

  • Traditionally a dual operating system refers to a system in which a virtual machine is running in the primary OS and then a secondary OS is run through the virtual machine. Task scheduling in the secondary OS can not be scheduled until the task scheduling of the primary OS is idle. Thus the secondary OS can not give timely responses to the high-priority tasks, which tends to cause a system crash. So if the virtual machine can be allowed to run firstly and subsequently operates the primary and secondary OS, and at last via the virtual machine to schedule the tasks of the two OS and improve the task scheduling strategy, thus a smooth task-scheduling between the two systems can be made possible so as to guarantee a steadfast and reliable operation of the entire system.
