Due to the fact that the Chinese socialist industrialization started under the background of backward economy and without any experience and the task to recover the national economy and keep up with and even exceed the developed countries, MAO Ze-dong had to take reference from the industrialization mode of Soviet Union when he began to explore the China’s one. He did not copy the Soviet mode completely. Instead, he took reflections on the weaknesses of the Soviet mode and made some innovations according to Chinese reality. This brought about the great breakthrough of that mode.
