Reflection upon the Implementation of Students' Mutual Evaluation in the Teaching Evaluation of Chemistry Experiment
Abstract
The introduction of students' mutual evaluation into the teaching evaluation of chemistry experiments is an attempt made to enable the student to become the principal part in experimental teaching. In the process of evaluation, students get acquainted with the concrete requirements of the teaching objectives and behavioral norms, which makes it possible for the students to know where their efforts shall be diretected to; and while evaluating others, it is likely to get a clear understanding of one's own intellectual construction and stimulate one's learning desire, which is conducive to trigger the wakenning of one's potentials; the evaluation process can help achieve the fulfillment of students' mutual supervision and mutual learning, and prompt a coordinated development of their own multiple intelligences, thus to push forward the teaching reform and help exert the function of an all-round development to the fullest extent
