Graphical Abstract
Abstract
In his early years, JIN Yong had his political pursuit. However, he failed to participate in the real political activities due to that special time. Later, he fused his political ideas into his martial novels. Therefore, some of his such novels have strong political inclination. From his novels, we find his revelation of the fact that the humanity was invaded by power, his sadness and warning about the abnormal purposes and means of rebellion, the fantastical criticism in Cultural Revolution, his feelings toward meaningless conflicts, and call for the peace. The political connotations in his novels strengthened their classic status of literature.
