Correlation Analysis of the Change in Arable Farmland and the Social Economy in Dongxing District of Neijiang

By use ofthe 2002-2010 statistics about the arable land and social economy in Dongxing District of Neijiang, an analysis is made of the spatial-temporal dynamic change in the arable land in the district. At the same time, through correlation analysis of the multiple driving factors concerning the dynamic change in arable land, the principal driving factors are detected and the relation between these driving factors and the change in arable land is further analyzed in hope of offering some theoretic guidance for the policy-making institution in charge of arable land protection.
