A Probe into the Color Space of ZHANG Da qian’s Style of Ink splash Painting

In his late years, ZHANG Da qian employed the rich oriental colors in his ink-splash paintings. He splashed such colors in the landscapes with ink as background. This made his paintings rich in layers and beautiful and elegant. It not only showed the physical space between far and near natural scenes and distinction between rainy and sunny days, but showed the hierarchical space among colors themselves.
