The Current Situation and Bottleneck of Sports Association among College Students in the Universities of South Anhui

By means of documentation, questionnaire survey, interviewing and mathematical statistics, an analytical research is made into the current situation of sports association among the college students in 16 universities of South Anhui. It finds that the types of sports associations are quite varied and the number of them is on the increase; the motive of students’ participation is clear and the patterns of activities are diversified; however, due to loose management mechanisms, limited investment and lack of the facilities of the venues and professional sports teachers, the healthy development of sports association is immensely affected. In view of this, countermeasures are put forth in hope of promoting the rapid development of sports associations in the universities of South Anhui.
