Abstract
In order to help the students in College of Mathematics and Information Science learn Mathematical Analysis more efficiently, by use of the Learning Status Quo Questionnaire, a survey was carried out among 500 students in the college and 429 questionnaires returned are valid. The results show that the students are lacking in their understanding of Mathematical Analysis, and active learning is too scarce and the learner autonomy inadequate; students are weak in the knowledge integration; students majoring in different subjects have quite a different choice of the teaching method, indicating that the teacher has to apply different teaching methods when faced with students from different majors and the students should also step up their efforts in strengthening their learner autonomy and pay greater attention to the efficacy of their learning strategies.
