  • YAO Jia-xin’s event has reflected the pursuit for quick success in a short period in contemporary music education. The family education under high pressure, the utilitarian educational goals, the narrow educational content, and rigescent teaching methods all lead to his limitation in his personality. To solve problems in family and social music education, the goal of self-cultivation of Confucian thoughts concerning music education, affective experiential educational methods and careful selection of teaching content all could be considered as reference in exploration of moral gestation in music education.
