The Research for Variation Characteristics and Countermeasuresfor Increasing Farmers’ Income in Underdeveloped Areas ——A Case Study of Wangcang County
Abstract
To increase farmers’ income has become a priority of the government concern, and in particular, to increase the rural income of the less developed areas. Based on the data collected from the year 2000 to 2010 in Wangcang county, an analysis is made in an attempt to find out the characteristics and laws of rural income growth, thus to put forth suggestions for structural adjustment, rural land transfer policy, acceleration of the migration of rural surplus labor force, the stepping up of information service and perfection of infrastructure construction to forge ahead the job of increasing farming income in the northern mountainous regions of Sichuan.
