A Study of Weakness in Safety Management at Universities and Counselors’ Duty Risk in Security

The safety of students is the foundation of stability of universities. However, there exist a lot of weaknesses in security management at universities. These weaknesses are like lack of standardized system of security management, conceptions of systematic security management, special personnel and organizations, and security education. Such weaknesses exert great influences on the effective implementation of security management. Meanwhile, they lead to the increase of duty risk of counselors and lack of sense of happiness. Therefore, the management of universities should decrease the duty risk in security of counselors and increase students’ security through making standardized system of security management, establishing scientific and objective systems of risk recognition and warning, making plans for general risk exclusion and emergency tackling, constructing the plat for information communication, and establishing data of security education and file for the security management.
