On ZHANG Da qian’s Paintings and Poems Created in Sichuan

The mountains and rivers in Sichuan gave birth to ZHANG Da-qian’s poems and paintings. Sichuan has a long history, brilliant culture, and is a place with famous mountains, rivers, scenic spots, cultural relics, unique scenery, flavor and folk custom, which not only became subjects of ZHANG’s creation of his works, but were his art life and places in which his feelings rested and directly influenced his style of calligraphy and painting.
