On the Educational Forms of Some Knowledge Points in Higher Geometry
Abstract
Through the background review and pedagogical treatment of some of the knowledge points in higher geometry like “affine transformation” and “projective plane” and “cross ratio” and “complete quadrangle ” and “Pappus theorem”, “two dimensional projective coordinate system”, “polar shift”, the educational forms of the above knowledge points are presented, which serves as a means for students to internalize the fundamental concepts, enhance their level of understanding, and thus guide them towards a better application of higher geometry thoughts in the analysing and solving mathematical problems.
