An Analysis of the Effectiveness of Marxist Popularization during Yan’an Period

The Yan’an period is the key period with great achievements during which CPC popularized Marxism at her full strength. The policies benefiting the mass moved them to accept CPC, which created a favorable social psychological condition for Marxist popularization. A variety of flexible measures taken contributed to the striking achievement of the Marxist popularization. Accordingly, the people’s Marxist theoretical level was improved and the enthusiasm of the people in border areas for revolution increased greatly. As a result, the border areas became stable and were in harmony. The Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia border area had become the hope of whole China.
