Participants Service Demand Survey of the 5th Special Olympics
Abstract
252 participants at the Fifth National Special Olympics were questionnaired and by adopting document-data method, interviews etc, an analysis was made of the participant service demands. The results showed that: one thing that all participants, regardless of their gender and sports item, have in common is that they have the lowest physiological demands while ask for a rather high demands in respects of their sentiments, personal safety and esteem; participants’ demands in emotional services are rather strong except those from the north-east region; athletes aged between 6 and 11 expect much in physiological service while they ask for less in respect of esteem.
