Strategies on Optimization of Field Practice Teaching of Geography Majors in Normal Universities——A Case Study of Geography Majors in Neijiang Normal University

  • The field practice teaching is one of the important links in both the curricular construction of geography and the teaching reform. Students with rich practice experience and strong field ability are definitely better liked by their potential employers. Based on a case study of geography majors of Neijiang Normal University, an analysis is made of the significance of field practice teaching and the many problems arising from field practice teaching. Suggestions were put forward regarding the strengthening of teaching management so as to promote cooperative education of production, teaching and research, the stepping up of the construction of various practice teaching bases and laboratories so as to establish a scientific system for field practice teaching.
