Reflection on the Enhancement of the Scientific Qualityin College Teachers

To shape the nation into an innovative country in 2020 is a magnificent goal of this century, which poses upon us an urgent task of turning out large number of high-quality, innovative-minded talents. College teachers are a backbone force in the establishment of an innovative country. Also, they are educator to cultivate high-quality qualified talents, therefore it is of urgent need to enhance the scientific qualities of the college teachers to build up an innovative country. Yet the current situation concerning college teachers’ scientific qualities is far from sufficient to satisfy the dual need of training innovative talents and playing the role of constructing an innovative country; so efficient measures must be taken to enhance the scientific quality of teachers so as to make contribution to the building of an innovative nation.
