Abstract

A General Proverb Dictionary edited by WEN Rui-zheng and SHEN Hui-yun provides great convenience for the readers in their study of proverbs. Meanwhile, it has accumulated some experiences for the compilation of such dictionaries. However, there are some flaws in this dictionary. We can find some mistakes in phonetic notation, entry compiling and paraphrase. This paper has made an attempt in correcting them.
