Abstract
The evaluation of specialty elective course teaching for P.E. majors in colleges and universities is an important means for the scientific management of physical education teaching and an effective measure to improve the teaching quality of specialty courses. In order to construct a scentific evaluation system of specialty elective course teaching, improve teaching of specialty elective courses and foster qualified P.E. personnel, it is strongly advised to change the concept of teaching evaluation, to adopt multi-dimensional evaluation approaches to enhance the quality of teaching and the teachers as well.
