On Chemistry Classroom Teaching Evaluation of Senior High School New Curriculum
Abstract
The traditional evaluation of chemistry classroom teaching overempasizes the results, the knowledge and skills, yet downplays the role of the teaching process, affective education, attitudes and the development of values, and the forms of valuation, contents of evaluation and subjects of evaluation are being too simple, with the teachers and students put in a rather passive position, to remain compatible with the requirements of the new curriculum. The chemisry classroom teaching evaluation shall lay more emphasis on the development, process, diversity of evaluation. By the integral and flexible use of a diversified evaluation system to raise the teaching efficiency, an all-round development of the students can be expected so that education and teaching may advance with the times.
