The Cultural Adaptation in Rural Tourism with Participation of Communities: A Study of Dehang Miao Village in Western Hunan
Abstract
The study of Dehang Miao village indicates that what prevents communities from participation in the rural tourism is the cultural conflict at various levels. Through the innovation of traditional concepts, developing national education, searching for balance between proto-ecological culture and stage display, we may develop the rural tourism sustainably. Starting from the cultural adaptation, we can probably make the communities’ participation in rural tourism to go from theory to practice.
