On Popper’s Guessing Theory
Abstract
The innovation of Popper’s guessing theory lies in that the solution to the inductive problem helps the two problems in epistemology, origin of knowledge and how to be true, get solved relatively reasonably. Through the false clarification of the guess, Popper pointed out a road to the truth. However, because Popper ignored the unknown field in the pursuit for truth, the guessing theory covers itself with the shade of mysticism, which is brought about by Popper in his pursuit for knowledge.
