    Discussion on Energy Concentration Degree Based on COMOGEN Model

    • The emulsion chamber experiments on high mountain shows that the phenomenon of energy concentration exists in family events caused by interaction of the super high-energy cosmic ray(energy range:1014 eV~1017eV ) and the air. On the basis of COMOGEN model, simulation computation of the energy concentration degree (χ5andχ10 ) is done, and the simulation test results are subjected to K-S significance test. The findings show that the said model is by no means better than the other models in the efficiency of interpreting the energy concentration phenomenon.
