.An Analysis of the Integration of Emotion and Cognition from a Perspective of Cognitive Neurological Science
Abstract
The studies of the relationship between emotion and cognition have been focused on the Philosophy and Psychology. However, the cognitive neurological science has reexamined the relationship between the two with the brain mechanism of emotion and cognition as the cut-in point. Further, it stresses the interaction between the two and finds out the amygdale and prefrontal cortex as the common neurological bases of emotion and cognition. These parts of brain function as the connectors of a network and they can integrate the emotion and cognition.
