The Functions and Paths of Integration of Intangible Cultural Heritage into Courses of Core Values:A Case Study of Leshan

Abstract
Intangible cultural heritage (ICH) carries significant value of education. ICH serves as a precious resource for improving education of core values in colleges and universities in China as well. The city of Leshan in Sichuan Province is taken as an example in this study. The educational cohesion, normative regulation, incentive functions shaping students, and innovation of ICH are investigated, on which this study is based. A practical path for integrating ICH into education of core values in the colleges and universities has been explored from four aspects. The four aspects incorporate cultivation objectives, educational resources, teaching methods, and institutional mechanisms. This path is of great value for reference.
