The Innovative Practices of Original Dramas and the Collaborations Between a University and the City in Which It Is Located
Abstract
The collaboration between a university and the city where the university is located plays a crucial role in the innovative development of original dramas. As a bridge between students and society, universities establish service-oriented and innovative platforms for aesthetic education with original drama as the carrier through a close collaboration between a university and the city where it is located. The faculty members of the university are involved in the creations of local dramas via the collaboration. Moreover, local historical resources of original dramas are introduced to the practice of theatrical stages in the local university. The collaboration embodied by original dramas promotes and enriches precious traditional culture with regional attributes and local colors. It serves as a platform for showcasing regional elements as well, which contributes to the local economy. By collaborating with local institutions, the university provides guidance for artistic practices, fosters collaboratively innovative works, establishes novel performance models, and realize the innovative practices of original dramas in the collaborations between the university and the city where it is located.
