The Integration of Cultivation of Internet Literacy into Teaching and Research of Courses of Core Values in Higher Education
Abstract
College students are one of the social groups with a high degree of internet informationization. However, their internet literacy faces new challenges, mainly manifested in deviations in their values, frequent occurrence of negative online phenomena, and low proficiency in internet applications. As the main field for cultivating students' moral character, universities should make good use of courses of core values to enhance the effectiveness of internet literacy cultivation. It is necessary to establish a systematic framework for cultivation, with clear guidelines, relevant course themes, competent teaching staff, and innovative course content, specifically designed for cultivating internet literacy among college students.
