Textual Criticism and Collation ofJin Wen Zui:Chronological Research through Textual Titles

There are errors in the chronological dating under some titles part of the chapters in Jin Wen Zui (The Most Comprehensive Collection of Literary Works in Jin Dynasty), which may be due to the editors' lack of familiarity with the historical background, insufficient understanding of the authors, or carelessness during the compilation. Also problems are found in this book, such as poor selection of the source material, lack of supplementary notes, errors not corrected during proofreading, and biased standards for compilation. Correcting these issues and clarifying the mistakes will help to fully represent the value of the literature, and have theoretical and guiding significance for the compilation of literary collections.
