Abstract
To comprehensively advance the ideological and political construction of physical education courses in colleges and universities is of great significance for fulfilling the fundamental task of morality education. Using the methods of literature review, logical deduction and pundits interviews, a systematicprobe is conducted into the ideological and political teaching practice of physical education courses in colleges and universities. The study found that: there in the teaching materials concerning the teaching of physical education in colleges and universities is a lack of ideological and political goals and values of the curriculum, the loss of theoretical ideas of excellent national traditional sportsandexploration of relevant ideological and political elements; and the teaching design in the teaching implementation is ambiguous. Insufficient allocation of teaching resources, the missing of evaluation of the teaching effectiveness of ideological and political teaching and other practical difficulties. To this end, through theoretical analysis and teaching practice, in combination with the teachingand learning situation of the pilot schools, corresponding reform and innovation paths are put forward, which provides useful theoretical support and practical exploration for the high-quality development of ideological and political teaching in college physical education courses.
