A Review of Studies of Prepositions in Modern Chinese in the 21st Century

Preposition has been the research focus in the academic circle.In the 21 st century, the researches in preposition are new in perspectives and rich in content.They mainly include the prepositional grammaticalization, comparison between prepositional synonyms, frame prepositions, prepositional omission and appearing, and prepositional order.However, there are still some weaknesses in some respects of prepositional studies, which are worthy of the academic attention and improvement.
