Analysis and Design for a Lightweight Workflow Engine of the Bus Topology

  • In response to the problems of complex structure, poor flexibility and lack of dexterity commonly found in current workflow management system, the idea of hierarchical storage is employed to separate the static attribute information of activities from the interaction information between activities in the workflow process model storage mode, which can reduce the complexity and coupling degree of the process model.On the basis of this, a kind of lightweight workflow engine on the bus topology is analyzed and designed, which can not only make it possible to centralize the management and combination of the service, but also facilitate the modification of services and workflow processes.Taking the development and improvement of a university’s educational management system as an example, the author verified the flexibility and expansibility of the system.
