Proofreading of DANG Huaiying’s Four Lost Works

  • DANG Huaiying was a famous scholar in Jin Dynasty. His works were collected into A Collection of Zhuxi
with ten volumes. But the collection was already lost. At present, the books which have collected the most of his works are All Poems of Jin Dynasty and All Essays of Liao and Jin. However, the two books have still missed some of his works. In the literature in some local chronicles and Taoist Canon, the author of this paper has found DANG’s four lost works, including one seven-character poem with rigorous prosodic rule and three essays(involving one with only few parts left). They are of high reference value for the study of DANG and literature in Jin Dynasty.
