Mindfulness Training on College Students’ Psychological Health ——— Based on Satire Meditation Techniques

In order to explore the effect of Mindfulness Training-the Satire Meditation Technique-on college students’ psychological health, by adopting the design of pre- and post-test of experiment group and control group, 58 college freshmen were subjected to Mindfulness Training, in which the testees in the experimental group are subjected to an eight-week inter- vention of meditation, and the control group is not given any treatment at all. The results show that mindfulness training-Sat- ire meditation techniques- improved students’ mindfulness ability, reduced the level of anxiety, depression; and their inter- personal problems relieved. However, in terms of obsession, no significant result is observed. Mindfulness training-Satire meditation techniques- could be used as an effective growth mindfulness training pattern to intervene the mental health of col- lege students.
