Unconventional Methods for Solving the Limit of Bivariate Functions
Abstract
Students often find it difficult in solving the limit problem of bivar functions, especially when the number of independent variables increases. To rid students of this headache, the three unconventional methods of equivalence infinitesimal replacement, elementary inequality and reciprocal were employed in solving the limit of bivar functions in combination with oth- er conventional approaches. The said method is characteristic of clarity in train of thought, and easy intelligibility.
