Four Items Supplementary to Source Materials ofStrange Tales of Chatting Room

Through examination of four stories of Strange Tales of Chatting Room, the author of this paper concludes that ZHANG Shengof Four Volumes of Strange Language by ZHU Yun-ming can serve as the source materials of A Ghost in the Temple, YU Shao-bao Changed His Bonesof Records of ZHU's Strange Tales can be regarded as the source of LU Pan, we can find the prototype of Adultery with Dog in the 17 ^thchapter “White Dog Beheaded for Justice” of Legal Cases, Da Qing and Xiao Qing of Records of ZHU's Strange Tales. We also find the overlapping between three works Da Qing and Xiao Qing of Records of ZHU's Strange Tales, HOU Dian's LU Dao-pan of An Unofficial History of Western Woodcutter, and LV Zi's Source of SHEN Wan-san's Properties of A Minor History of Ming Dynasty and Xiao Xie. And they can serve as the source materials.
