Research of Food Tourism Image in Wuhan Hubu Alley ——The Difference and Similarity of Chinese and Foreign Tourist Gaze from the VEP perspective

In the western academic circle, when the VEP method is adopted to analyze the tourism image, the contrastive study is generally done through the two systematic perspectives(subjective and objective)formed by collecting the photos taken by the tourists to a tourist destination and photos taken by the community residents. With the international spread of domestic city tourism image, local food element development and related food attractions construction have enticed many tourists to come and enjoy. Through the analytical comparison of the differences between Sino-foreign tourists from the VEP perspective of tourist gaze, the article tries to interpret the visual representation of Wuhan Hubu Alley Food Tourism image and implicit speech thus to get a clear picture about the general tourist gaze outlook of the interests groups and the psychological pursuits in the tourist destinations and to shed some light on the tourism development management and the shaping of international tourism image for the local authorities.
