An Analysis of the Predicament of Public Optional Courses in Universities and Its Breakthrough —— A Case Study of Neijiang Normal University

    • The public optional courses belong to the comprehensive educational courses with humanistic and scientific quality as the core which cross the single subject and are opened for all the students of a university. For a long time, the quality of such courses is not high, and their effect is not ideal. The key to the improvement of such quality lies in the leader level. Accordingly, we should strengthen the staff's understanding of them, highly value the construction and operation of them. Further, we should integrate various resources of the university, enhance our construction and management, and make good guidance through policies.
