The Influence of Land Consolidation upon the Value of Regional Soil Erosion Control

Based on the theory of ecological system service value, and by use of GIS technology and USLE Model, the value of different types of soil erosion control is put under examination and the Kongming Village of the Qionglai City is chosen as the research subject. The results showed that of the three types of land consolidation, the value in soil erosion control is heightened after the project, among which the land development contributes CN￥ 27,300 in value(an increase of 23.1%), the land reclamation contributes CN￥130,100(an increase by 168.5%); and the land consolidation contributes CN￥311,100(an increase by 17.6%). And the land reclamation contributes most in value and the land development and consolidation exert a positive effect upon the conservation of water and soil.
