Coupling Coordination between Socio-Economic Benefits andEco-Environmental Benefits of Land Use in Chongqing
Abstract
By way of constructing an evaluation system for Comprehensive Land Use Indicators and the use of the entropy method to determine the weight of indicators, Chongqing is taken as an example to obtain the land use efficiency index and in combination with the coupling coordination degree model an in-depth analysis is made. The results show that the index of the socio-economic benefits and eco-environmental benefits of the land use of Chongqing between 1998 and 2013 are on the steady increase; and the coupling degree is always in a fluctuating state(though the coordination degree is of an upward trend, its balance goes seriously out of control and borders on severe imbalance, there are altogether four periods it undergoes, namely, severe imbalance, moderate imbalance, mild imbalance and on the brink of imbalance, and the overall coordination degree remains to be improved.
