Personnel Training Mode for the Major of Economicsof Neijiang Normal University

  • In the context of the “New Normal” economy, the demand structure in the talent market has undergone great changes, yet in reality the talent training mode in colleges and universities are not in tune with the market demand. In view of this, the newly-offered major of Economics in the Neijiang Normal University is taken as the research subject, a follow-up investigation is made of the talent training mode to find out about its actual results in the years from 2011 to 2015, and an analysis is given of the contradiction between demand and supply from aspects like target localization, employment prospect, absence of employment guidance in major construction concerning the major of Economics, and accordingly some counter measures are suggested as follows: the train of thought for discipline construction is put forth; the creation of specialty major; the strengthening of inter-major integration; the implementation of professional tutor responsibility system; the offer of employment coaching courses for economics majors and etc,. so as to provide some valuable reference for the construction of the Economics major.
