Abstract
In order to find out about people's opinions concerning the reform of the policy of the awarded marks in college entrance examination in Sichuan, by use of questionnaires and interviews, it is found that due to the lack of a straight-forward standard for marks award and for whom extra marks can be awarded and the exact marks for what merits and inadequate publicity efforts and monitoring, relevant policies have long been challenged. In order to increase the rationality of the policy and guarantee the smooth implementation of the policy, in the process of policy making, a wide range of public opinions have been gathered and the standards for marks award and whom can be awarded extra marks for what merits are clarified and standardized and items for mark award are reduced. Relevant stipulations in policy implementation are specified and publicity efforts are stepped up and the monitoring system is reinforced.
