Problems in the Tourist Project Construction in the Three Counties andTwo Districts of Neijiang and the Counter Measures

By means of field survey and informal discussions with relevant executive departments, an investigation report is made, which clearly tells us the imbalanced conditions of the tourist project construction and tourism development. The analysis states that the problems fall into types: objective ones like the restraint of land resources and subjective ones like the mechanic problems, the holistic planning and design mistakes. It is thus suggested that a medium-to-long-term development be made for the counties and districts; priority be given to the construction of the riverside sight-seeing belts along the Tuojiang River; a holistic publicity campaign be launched to introduce the tourism resources in Neijiang; financial resources be concentrated on the construction of the suburb key tourism projects.
