Human Geography and City & Country Planning GIS ExperimentTeaching Exploration

The GIS course is the one of the core courses for students majoring inHuman Geography and City & Country Planning. In city and country planning research and in practice, GIS finds wide application in various fields. Therefore, after a brief description of the nature and features of the two courses, a sum-up of the teaching experience is done about the GIS course. Analysis is made of GIS content and the measures for the teaching reform are proposed.
