Preparation of Pectin Cellulose Composite Magnetic Microspheres and Its Adsorption Properties

  • Magnetic oxide nanoparticles were prepared by combining magnetic microspheres with pectin and cellulose, which was characterized by IR, TG/DTA, XRD and SEM. The effects of absorption conditions, such as the adsorbent dosage, adsorption time, initial concentration of Cu 2+and pH value of the solution, were systemically investigated. The results showed that the best adsorption quantity was 49.96 mg/g when the effective adsorption time of composite magnetic microspheres was 1.0 h, the dosage was 50 mg, the initial copper ion concentration was 100 μg/ml, and the best pH of the solution was about 3.40.
