A Probe into the Theoretical Connotation and Practical Moral Education in New Period
Abstract
The practical moral education requires that the social practice be taken as an important way and feature of process on the basis of reflecting the current Chinese moral education and the traditional “intellectual moral education”. As a completely new concept, the practical moral education refers to the process of moral education in which the educators improve students' cognitive ability, political participation, selection ability of moral behaviors through organizing and directing them into various practical activities. To ensure the smooth implementation of the practical moral education, we should hold the view “moral education as the center” as well as following some principles as objects' adaptation, subjects' levels, subjectivity, justice, process control and timely guidance. In this way, we can overcome some limitations in such education and achieve the optimal value of education.
