DENG Xiao-ping's Thoughts Concerning Young Talents and the Growth of College-graduate Village Officials

  • As an important part of DENG Xiao-ping's strategic thoughts about talents, his theories concerning young talents reflect his systematic understanding of training and growth of young talents. DENG examined the young talents' status and roles in the social development. He stressed the significance of training and selection of young successors, valued the issues of younger cadres. He emphasized that it was the objective requirement for realization of national development strategy to produce young talents as early and many as possible. We should encourage young people's ceaseless study and practice with great effort. All these have provided important theoretical guidance for the growth of college-graduate village officials.
