Graphical Abstract
Abstract
Administering affairs and practicality were two separate words in the Chinese ancient works. The use of the combination between the two started from LIANG Qi-chao. And such combination meant “administer the nation with what one has learned”. Its core is to face the reality and stress the practice. For literature, the affair-administered and practical learning is the requirement of literary function and the base for judgment of value of literary works. And as a matter of fact, it is the traditional spirit of Chinese literature. It is expressed in the pursuit of elegant satire, aid to learning and education.
