Criticism on the Liberal Welfare System: On Argument between Nozick and Rawls
Graphical Abstract
Abstract
In the history of liberalism, Rawls proposed the principles of welfare distribution under the free system in order to save the liberalism. Such proposition was apposed by the resolute protector of liberalism, Nozick. Moreover, due to its internal defects, it was criticized by Marx. Such criticism can be made from two aspects: Marxist different point of view concerning the welfare and criticism on the different liberalist view concerning the internal welfare with Rawls as a representative. The disagreement on the welfare system of the contemporary West has provided reflections and inspirations for the social development of China.
