A Probe intoTraditional Views in Folklore

  • Folklore is culture as well as life. In folklore there are inseparable traditions and their shadows in addition to our understanding of the real life. Folklore requires us to seek for the traditions belonging to modern people as well as those of the past. Traditions contribute to life and need to be passed on because they can bring self identity. Only when we hold the contemporary functions of traditions can we construct a folkloric world in an interaction with traditions.
